Integrative Health Protocols vary dramatically depending on what is being treated. The goal is Longevity and Improved Lifestyle! Thus, the supplements and healthier lifestyle modifications are indefinite and change as your health improves. Bioidentical Hormones are usually ongoing as well and change as we age and symptoms change.
Bioidentical hormones are hormones manufactured from yams that are designed to be structurally identical to the hormones naturally produced in the human body. They are used in hormone replacement therapy to address imbalances and deficiencies in hormone levels, often associated with conditions like menopause or andropause. The goal is to alleviate symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and fatigue amongst many others. The safety profile of bioidentical hormones seems to be far better than synthetic hormone replacement.
An integrative medicine peptide is a short chain of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, that plays a regulatory role in various physiological processes within the body. These peptides are used in integrative medicine to support overall health and well-being. They can influence functions like hormone production, immune response, and cell communication. Integrative medicine peptides are often administered as supplements or therapies to potentially address specific health concerns, although their efficacy and safety might vary and should be discussed with a healthcare professional.
