DR. LORI GERBER D.O. has over 15 years of experience in injectable cosmetic dermatology and integrative functional medicine. She has a thriving practice doing just this in Newtown, PA. She has been perfecting her injection technique, “The Dr. Lori Gerber Method” using her passion for art, shadows, light reflection and the natural aesthetic she has used over the last decade combined with her integrative medicine expertise in detoxification, gut and inflammation connections with the skin.

FIVE SECTIONS ARE COVERED DURING THE TRAINING

1. Basic Botulinum Toxin Injection & Introduction to Filler

KEY TOPICS INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
  • Focus on the Dr. Lori Patient Assessment Process - How to perform The ”Dr. Lori Process” Assessment & Plan for botulinum toxin and dermal fillers
  • Discussion on aging skin and how the skin, bones and structure change over time
  • Indications and contraindications for botulinum toxin and dermal fillers
  • Comprehensive education in the anatomy, neurophysiology, musculature and circulatory system of the oral and maxillofacial areas
  • Review safety and risk issues for botulinum toxin and dermal fillers
  • Learn sterile technique for the use of injectable pharmacologic agents
  • Learn the various dilutions for botulin toxin and aesthetic outcomes
  • Learn how to use and create an injectable crash cart
  • Receive in-depth education on the physiology and pharmacology of the various injectables
  • Learn how to integrate botulinum neurotoxin and dermal filler therapy into therapeutic and aesthetic treatment plans
  • Volumizing nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and lifting up the corners of the mouth using anatomical landmarks
  • Learn how to create beautiful and subtle lip enhancements by increasing volume to establish proper lip and smile lines
  • Smoothing lip lines and eliminating vertical “smokers” lines
  • Observe substantial model patients during the course
  • One-on-one comprehensive mentored instruction as you work hands-on your model patient
  • Establish correct fee structures for injectable treatment
  • Coverage of all necessary office forms and informed consents required for treating patients immediately

2. Advanced Injectables Topics Include

  • Botulinum toxin for other treatment areas such as neck, chin, TMJ, tender points, occiput, jawline slimming, headaches, myofascial pain and tender points
  • Non-surgical rhinoplasty with filler
  • Volumizing cheeks, jawline and chin contouring
  • Under-eye filler / tear trough treatment
  • Learn best practices to avoid, manage, and treat possible adverse reactions and complications
  • Perform live patient training including comprehensive diagnosis, treatment planning, proper dosing and delivery of botulinum neurotoxin and dermal fillers
  • Establish correct fee structures for oral and maxillofacial injectable treatment
  • Coverage of all necessary office forms and informed consents required for treating patients immediately

Initial Training - First Five Sections

$500 non-refundable deposit required to hold spot and full payment due 60 days prior to course date – can be paid in increments)

All courses will have injectable materials provided as part of the course cost. Each participant must provide your own models for the hands-on portion of the training. You will be notified the number of models you will need and what procedures you will be doing after registration.

Virtual Certification

$500 (Paid separately) Cost included in the $2800 total above). Payment must be received 7 days prior to the beginning of the course. Typically, this course is scheduled on a weekend.

Your virtual certification must be completed within 6 months after initial training is complete. Each participant must submit 5 demonstration slides with before and after photos; explanation of therapy; and plan regarding future therapy or enhancements. Once all criteria is met, you will receive your certificate of completion from Dr. Lori Gerber.
